Initial Use of Ulticlips
Ulticlips are made with tight tolerances. Upon initial use you may find your clip requires more strength to open and close it. After you open and close your clip 40-50 times you will find that the process becomes easier. We recommend applying a wax based lubricate after initial use so that your clip continues to work smoothly. See the care and maintenance sections below to better understand how to lubricate your clip.

UltiLink
What is the UltiLink?
The UltiLink, is a Rapid Attachment, Modular Linking System that allows for swift attachment, removal, and reattachment of Molle gear, sheaths, mag carriers, and other items. The UltiLink’s modular system makes it easy to transfer items between Molle, duty vest, belts, packs and from person to person.
The composite and stainless steel lock offers 12 angles of attachment making horizontal, vertical, and diagonal carry possible. Quickly remove, relocate, and reattach your gear with the UltiLink.
What are the Expansion Packs?
Expansion packs are made to complement the UltiLink complete kit. The UltiLink complete kit will allow up to 2 different items to me interchanged and carried with one Lock unit. Increase the number of items you can carry or interchange by purchasing the Expansion Pack that fits your need.

Ulticlip Slim
Should I Choose Slim 2.2 or 3.3?
The SLIM 2.2 and 3.3 are identical in all aspect except length. Both versions are .60″ wide making them ideal for narrow applications. Watch the video below to better understand the difference between the 2.2 & 3.3.
How to clamp and remove Ulticlip Slim
The Ulticlip SLIM is designed like our original Ulticlip. The instructions for clamping and removing the SLIM are the same as our original Ulticlip. Follow the instruction in the video to properly clamp and remove the Ulticlip SLIM.
What is the maximum clamping thickness for the SLIM?
The SLIM is designed to provide a maximum clamping thickness of .12″inch. That is the equivalent of approximately 4 layers of denim material. Using ULTICLIP on materials exceeding .12″ inch can damage and negatively affect it’s ability to clamp.
Care and maintenance of your Ulticlip Slim
ULTICLIP SLIM is relatively maintenance free. The maintenance instructions for the SLIM are the same as our original Ulticlip. We recommend wiping down the SLIM with your favorite rust protective lubricate after extended use or after being exposed to harsh conditions that could create rust.
A metal lubricant was applied to SLIM when manufactured. If you note excessive friction after extended use then it may be necessary to reapply a wax lubricate. Wax lip balm works extremely well. Watch the following video to see how to apply wax lubricate.
Regular inspections and maintenance by you of your ULTICLIP product is essential. In the event you find your ULTICLIP product to be loose, worn, damaged or ineffective, cease use immediately and replace. Do not modify your ULTICLIP product. Any modifications could result in failure to function as designed.
Ulticlip & Ulticlip3+
Should I choose Ulticlip or Ulticlip 3+?
ULTICLIP and ULTICLIP3+ are the same length and width. Both versions are equipped with our patented retention and concealment design. The only main difference between ULTICLIP and ULTICLIP3+ is the mounting bracket area.
- ULTICLIP – We recommend ULTICLIP as our best retrofit version. ULTICLIP gives you several mounting options and is capable of replacing many holster clips. ULTICLIP can be used to replace traditional holster clips that use a retention slot. This type of clip is most commonly found on leather or nylon holsters. ULTICLIP also has a single hole that allows it to replace holster clips that use a single point attachment. - Ulticlip3+ – The mounting area of ULTICLIP3+ is primarily designed so that holster manufactures can better incorporate it into their products. The flat multi-hole mounting area allows for dual point attachment and the ability change ride height. You can download and print our Ulticlip3+ mounting template to verify if ULTICLIP3+ is the right choice for your holster.
Will Ulticlip work with my holster?
ULTICLIP has a dual mounting bracket. It can replace screw on and retention type holster clips. The different types of holsters that will work with ULTICLIP can be seen in the video.

What is the maximum clamping thickness?
ULTICLIP XL is designed to clamp around a belt or directly to clothing. When clamped directly to clothing the maximum clamping thickness is 1/4 inch. That is the equivalent of approximately 7-8 layers of denim material. The maximum clamping thickness around a 1.5″ wide belt is 3/8″. Using ULTICLIP on materials exceeding 1/4 inch or around a belt thicker than 3/8″ can damage and negatively affect it’s ability to clamp.
